This course is designed to introduce students to basic photographic equipment , skills, and techniques. Emphasis will be placed on camera functions, camera handling, camera accessories and equipment, photographic films and film processing, darkroom chemistry and procedures, printing (including enlargements), and special effects and finishing applications. Basic composition and design principles will be covered. STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN 35MM SLR CAMERA.
