Food Technology

There are sixteen different units in this class.  Each takes a week to a week and a half to complete. There are two cooking labs in each unit.   The units include:

The foodservice class will serve lunches to the senior citizens from October to January and then again from February to June.  The meals cost $4.00 each and are served in room #93 from 10:30-11:45 every Friday.   Hockanum Valley Community Council provides a bus for senior citizen transportation.   The menu is available on Ms. DeBlois' web page. Child Development and Childhood Education

The child development class has nursery school students (age 3) come to the high school every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-10am. The childhood education class has preschool school students (age 4) come to the high school every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:10-12:10. Clothing and Fashion

Students study the fashion world, clothing and society and sewing and embroidery techniques in the Clothing and Fashion Class.
