What Does a Family Resource Center Do?

The Tolland Family Resource Center, located at Birch Grove Primary School, is open to all Tolland Residents.

The staff is available to help with your search for childcare, preschool, before and after school care, as well as family resources such as child development, home visits, parent education, and playgroups.

Our School Age Care Program is now located in both Tolland Elementary Schools. Students in grades 3-6 will be in the program at Tolland Intermediate School. Students in grades K-2 will be in the program at Birch Grove Primary School. For information regarding school age care before, after, kindergarten, or summer camp, please call the Tolland Family Resource Center 870-6750 extension 6.

The Family Resource center has a lending library located in the FRC preschool classroom. Our library has parenting resources, books, magazines, and videos. Please call the Family Resource Center for more information on borrowing materials.

You may call the Family Resource Center at any time Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
